Directors - GAGE/DOWNS:

Kenny Gage and Devon Downs are an award-winning directing team currently based in Los Angeles. They are passionate filmmakers with over a decade of directing experience where together they have directed nine features, across the globe. “Anarchy Parlor” the first feature written and directed by the duo, was shot entirely on location in Vilnius, Lithuania.

"There are moments of both gore and suspense that are clear evidence of Downs and Gage's talent behind the camera." - ain't it cool news. Anarchy Parlor had an AMC theatrical and worldwide release in 2015.

Gage/Downs quickly became go-to directors for their unique vision in the action/thriller genre and background in stunt choreography (Kenny Gage, Fight Choreographer, “Raze”). They’ve completed six thrillers all with domestic and international TV releases.

For their most recent feature, the duo traveled to China where they directed the Mandarin language family/action film “Kung Fu Girl” which was theatrically released in 2021. “Kung Fu Girl" has also piled up multiple international film festival wins for Best Director, Best Feature, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor. Gage/Downs designed all of the fights in "Kung Fu Girl" and have their fingerprints on the stunt choreography of every film they direct.

The digital Horror series, “The Last One” which Gage/Downs directed for Viacom/BET Networks won the 2018 Cynopsis award for Best Digital Series Stand-Alone from a TV Network. They also directed BET’s scripted digital series “I Need A Rebel” in support of the late John Singleton’s Network series “Rebel”.

The horror/comedy “Cynthia” the team directed/produced won Best Horror Film at the 2018 Hollywood Independent Filmmakers Showcase and was subsequently released by Lionsgate.

Their films have been in multiple theater chains including AMC and seen on Tubi, Showtime, The Movie Channel, Starz, Amazon, Hulu, Lifetime, LMN, BET Digital, iTunes, VUDU, and all national VOD/EST platforms.
